How to Disable Notifications Send Out to Patrons When Creating or Editing Booking?

Guidance on how to disable the "Notify Patron" option when creating or editing bookings to prevent customers from receiving notifications

When you are creating or editing a reservation and do not want the customer to receive related notifications, you can achieve this by turning off the Notify Patron option. Please refer to the following steps and set it up via the iPad:

  1. inline App > Settings > System Settings

  2. Enable the Show Manual Notify Patron Notification Options (the switch will be orange when "On").

After making this adjustment, when creating or editing a specific reservation, you can manually turn off the Notify Patron button, and this edit will not send a notification to the customer. Once the edit is complete, you can view the adjustment record of Notify Patron by clicking the Booking Records of this reservation:

*Please note: If the booking includes a deposit, even if the Notify Patron option is turned off, the system will still send notifications to ensure the customer receives updates about the deposit.
