If a restaurant needs to close online ordering for specific time slots on a certain date—for example, not accepting orders from 17:00 - 22:00 on a particular day or from 11:00 - 14:00 on another day—you can use the Food Order Management feature on iPad to set this up. Follow these steps:
Open the inline App and go to Settings > Online Ordering Item Control > Add New.
Assign a module name that is easy to recognize or corresponds to the applicable date. In this example, we name it Holiday, then scroll to the calendar at the bottom.
Select the dates you want toapply for, then tap Done in the upper right corner.
By default, all newly created modules have item availability turned off. To enable the necessary items, go to Item Capacity Control within this module and turn on the required items.
Next, navigate to Settings > Online Ordering Item Control, select this module, then go to Maximum order quantity control, set the order limit for the time slots you want to close to 0 orders and tap Done to confirm.
＊Please Note: This setting only disables both takeout and delivery together. If you would like to disable only takeout or only delivery, you need to set it through the Backhouse menu settings. After making adjustments, we recommend checking the online ordering page to ensure the changes have been successfully applied.
