Go to Patrons > Find the patron's line of data by searching their phone number

Select the data, and tap "Mark as Don't Send Ads"

Alternately you can do this from the App by searching the patron's name/number or email, when found, tap on the avatar and simply disable the option of "Allow Marketing SMS" as shown in the 2nd picture.
