When a user edits a booking through web version, please note that the web interface does not support the pre-order feature at the moment. To maintain flexibility, users are still allowed to edit bookings via web version, but the system will not automatically update the daily or timeslot-based item capacity.
To make sure the capacity remains accurate, we recommend manually adjusting the daily or timeslot item capacity through the iPad App.
When Is Manual Adjustment Required?
Manual adjustment through the iPad App is only necessary when all of the following conditions are met:
The item has limited capacity (e.g., 10 servings per day or 5 per time slot).
The restaurant edited the booking via the Web version. (e.g., changed the date or time).
The edited booking includes a Pre-ordered item that is part of the limited availability.
Steps to Adjust Availability in the iPad App
A guest originally made a booking for October 1, including a Wagyu Set Menu (limited to 10 per day).
Later, the restaurant edited the booking on the web, changing the date to October 15.
10/1(Original booking date):
The booking was moved away — availability should increase by 1
10/15(New booking date):
The booking was added — availability should decrease by 1
Detailed Steps:
Open the inline iPad App and go to Book > List.
Switch to the guest’s original booking date (e.g., Oct 1).
Tap Booking Mgt. > Daily Item Capacity.
Find the pre-ordered item (e.g., Wagyu Set Menu).
Increase the available quantity by 1 (e.g., from 10 → 11).
Tap Done to save changes.
Next, switch to the new booking date (e.g., Oct 15).
Repeat the same steps, but decrease the quantity by 1 (e.g., from 10 → 9).
After completing these adjustments, the system’s available quantities will correctly match actual bookings, helping to prevent over-selling or under-stocking.
*Reminder:
If a single booking includes multiple Pre-ordered items, each item must be adjusted individually.
If the booking's date was changed using the iPad App, the system will automatically update availability, and no manual adjustment is required.
If the web-edited booking does not include pre-ordered items, or the edits only involve non-menu details (e.g., notes or phone numbers), you may ignore the web warning message, no adjustment is needed.
